Wallenius Lines

Wallenius was founded in 1934 and has during the last 75 years developed into one of the biggest shipping companies in the world.

The business is today concentrated on ocean transport, terminal services and logistic solutions. Together with international partners Wallenius Lines controls some 135 vessels, of which 35 are wholly or partly owned or on long-term charter contracts.

Ocean transportation
The fleet transports almost seven million cars annually. The transport services are offered through four subsidiaries:

Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics offers deep-sea transportation, transhipment and short-sea shipping. WWL operates more than 60 vessels. Each year, they carry about 2.3 million cars, rolling equipment and static cargo up to 50 metres long, 6.3 metres high and 350 tonnes in weight to most global destinations on their modern fleet of PCTC and Ro-Ro vessels.

EUKOR Car Carriers Inc. 
EUKOR Car Carriers is one of the world’s largest shipping companies specialised in transporting automobiles and other rolling cargo. EUKOR Car Carriers operates some 90 specialised vessels - annually transporting some 2.5 million cars to 220 different ports in 150 countries.

United European Car Carriers
Operating to a large extend from their own land based terminals, UECC is continuously developing its logistics service capabilities and is now the leading vehicle carrier in Europe. The UECC fleet consists of some 20 specialised vessels, of which some have features for carrying heavy Ro-Ro cargo. The fleet consists of both UECC-owned vessels and vessels chartered externally as well as from UECC shareholders. UECC has some 500 employees with major offices in Norway, UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.

American Roll-on Roll-Off Carrier
American Roll-on Roll Off Carrier is the leading US Ro-Ro carrier operating liner services in the US-International trades. The company controls eight Ro-Ro units.

Terminal services
Terminal services are handled by Wallenius Wilhelmsen Terminal Holdings, a business which lately has expanded in China - Tijangin and Shanghai.

American Auto Logistics and American Logistics Network
American Auto Logistics provides logistics services for POVs (Privately Owned Vehicles) on a global basis for the US Government. American Logistics Network develops and provides vehicle logistics services including storage.
